We're proud and excited to welcome Stanzi Stokes to the DanceMachine! team. As both a Casting Director and Acting Instructor, Stanzi has always been dedicated to bringing the best talent to each and every role that she casts.
With more than 25 years in Hollywood as a Casting Director Stanzi has been instrumental in launching the careers of many of today's stars including Leonardo DiCaprio and Keanu Reeves. |
| Her film and television credits to name a few include; The Terminator, Silent Night, Deadly Night, The Return of the Living Dead, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Fish Don't Blink, The New Lassie and Harry and The Hendersons TV series.
As the director of Stanzi's Kidz, a children's acting studio, among her current and former students are Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly), Jason Dolley (Good Luck Charlie), Jasmine Anthony (Ugly Betty), Anthony Skillman (The New Partridge Family, Family Guy) and Charlie Lea, (Shattered, Hollywoodland).
When the Producers of DanceMachine! first sat down with Stanzi ("sat down" is difficult with Stanzi because she's always moving) to explain how they wanted to cast the film she immediately understood the concept and agreed with one condition; that she would be allowed to bring her experience to instruct each candidate. The producers thought that was a great idea, too so they turned to Director, Dan Harris to make it happen. True to Stanzi's characters she immediately jumped in with both feet and created "Stanzi's Casting & Audition Tips." |
